Marketing + Promotions
The Marketing Committee, a newly formed MVBA committee, promotes the association and oversees the social media and web presence for the association. The Committee also organizes community events and promotional festivities throughout the year. Working closely with the Membership Committee, the Marketing Committee is always looking at ways to grow the association, community involvement, and support the overall mission of the association.
The newest community event, which is sure to become an annual favorite, was the first annual Oktoberfest Mount Vernon. On Friday and Saturday, October 13-14, 2017, over 1,200 neighbors, visitors, businesses, and beer lovers gathered on West Read Street, between Charles and Cathedral Streets. Local restaurants and shops set up booths to celebrate the neighborhood and Baltimore’s burgeoning Craft Beer Scene. This event will tentatively take place each October on West Read Street.
